Welcome to the CBSC
The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council (CBSC) is an independent, non-governmental organization created by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) to administer standards established by its members, Canada's private broadcasters. The Council's membership includes more than 745 private sector radio and television stations, specialty services and networks from across Canada, programming in English, French and third languages.
The CBSC is proud to make available a large volume of information on its website. For more information about the Council, such as its role, structure, adjudicators and Panels and its history, see the right sidebar menu. The left sidebar menu provides links to the Council's entire collection of Codes, Panel Decisions and Media Releases, as well as recent Annual Reports and many other public documents such as speeches and submissions by the Council.
